We celebrated by going out to Melting Pot for dinner. Expensive, but absolutely amazing. We had saved some of our tax refund just for this purpose. Well worth it! I even got to try duck for the first time. It tasted like pork to me...

5 years & counting
Hard to imagine that this time 5 years ago I was waking up at the Luxor getting ready to check out and head home as a married woman. It in no way feels like it's been that long already.

April 10th, 2004 we got married at a little chapel in Vegas. Gman was there with us to celebrate thanks to Rachel & Phil being fantastic enough to drive him up for us. Along with my BIL Tracy and his wife Marla they were our only guests. We chose to have a smaller wedding just for us. We even went our cheeseball way and had a top rated Elvis impersonator do all the music. Fantastic. Our family and friends joined us in celebrating our union at a reception in May. It was exactly what we were hoping for.
