Allergies

I need help. Can you help me? Next time you hear me whine about his behavior for days on end can you ask me if I changed his meds yet?

ERRR!!! I can't believe I forget this every time! It takes me almost two weeks every season to realize it's time to start figuring out what's going to work. And I just found out he's old enough to realize that he can skip it. So we've also instituted a "bring your medicine to me and make sure I know that I'm watching you take it with each and every dose" rule. And I get to see if they will enforce it over there this weekend. (They did BTW)

He SWEARS he's been taking the 365 AM dose EVERY day this week. But I go to start the PM dose, and what's in the bottom of his water cup? The AM dose I put there, ummm, YESTERDAY! So that's TWO days without meds. No wonder his punked out attitude of "you can't tell me what to do", and "I'm in full on tears the second I get in trouble" came out.

So starting tonight we're doing a PM pill and an AM squirt. If that doesn't work we'll add in a sometime swig. No wonder the kid hates medicine. I'm not ready for puberty, but when it happens I'm really hoping the allergies go away like the doctor said they might!

Update: It's only been a few days, but the behavior has improved MASSIVELY! I think the only time I felt the need to raise my voice this today was to call him from the other room. YAY! Now I just cross my fingers that it keeps working!
