36 Weeks

What a good week it's been. I had a lovely lazy weekend hanging out with the guys. Saturday night we got delicious pizza from Mafia Mike's and rented Race to Witch Mountain.. Then on Sunday we went over and had dinner and visiting at Grandma's place. It's amazing how lived in the house is already when she's only been there a few weeks.

Tuesday we had scouts. It was our first meeting where the boys both wore their field uniforms. They are cuties! I didn't sleep well that night, which didn't make for a very good Wednesday.. But Wednesday night and today more than made up for it. Somehow last night I was able to arrange the pillows better and my hips didn't keep me up near as much. Plus I had a doctor's appointment this morning so I got to stay in bed longer.

Was nice to sleep in this morning, and then to hang out with Gman until he went to school. Was in and out of the doctors appt. I didn't even have to time read a whole article while I was waiting. Plus she said that everything is still going well, and gave me an idea for excersizing that might help with the hip pain..

Because the doctors appointment went so fast I was able to get to work earlier than expected, so I wouldn't need to stay late to make up the time. The day was flying by already. I got there around 10:30, had a big meeting at 1:30, and would be able to drive home in decent traffic! A few minutes before the meeting my boss came up to go over the details we would be discussing at the meeting. I thought it was nice to know what was up for discussion before going in. I was a bit concerned when the group conversation regarding the meeting went a few minutes past the start time of the meeting, but figured it would be ok if the boss lady wasn't worried. It all made a bit more sense when we walked into the meeting and I saw the big "It's a Boy!" sign. Lol. They threw me a surprise baby shower. Yay! We got lots of goodies, and some gift cards to go shopping to pick out the rest. What a great bunch of people I work with. And the cake was just fantastic too. A cute little baby covered in a frosting blanket. And whoever ordered it got the whipped cream frosting, which in my opinion is SOOO much better than buttercream! Yum & fun!
