Baby Center says he's about 15" long and 2.5 lbs. This week starts our bi-weekly appointments. Yay oh yay.... I know the appts are to monitor his progress. But to take 3 hours off work (it's just too far of a drive to go in before the appt), to hear his heartbeat and have her tell me I'm measuring fine. I can tell he's growing, just look at the picture. Oh well. I would kick myself if I skipped them and missed something important. And it's not like I'm not getting paid for the time I'm missing at work.
Work. Well that's been crazy busy. Between the layoffs, fiscal year end, and the massive re-organization we've been swamped. But I love it. Stressfull as it is, I'm happy to have a good job that I enjoy and that keeps me busy. Not to mention actually liking the people I work with. It's not the "family" that I found with some of the girls at CircleK, but they're good people...
If you visit Jason's blog you'll have seen that he spent the weekend tinkering on the car. It hasn't been running so great and he hates driving a car with problems. So while he was sore and cranky from actually doing the work, I can tell that it also gave him a sense of satisfaction to have fixed it. And now he's talking about his car with a tone of love again which is great! We really want to keep both of these boogers until they're paid off. We made some stupid choices on cars in the past, and we're paying for it now, (literally) with being so upside down on both our cars.
G spent the weekend home with us for the 4th. He opted to stay home and watch cartoons instead of going out anywhere. I made sure it was was he truly wanted, and then relaxed and enjoyed the evening in the air conditioning. We went Goodwilling in the morning. Gotta love 50% off days. He made out like a bandit and brought home a whole grocery bag full of action figures by the end of the day. And he only spent like $5.
This weekend he'll go to the family reunion with the Gma's. Camping doesn't sound like much enjoyment to me at this point, and I'd rather have a few more vacation days to stay home with the CheesePuff when he gets here, so Jason and I aren't joining them. We'll make it up for a few hours at some point to get some visiting in. It will be great to see everyone. Hopefully I'll just blog next Sunday and have some good family pictures. =)

seriously! I was thinking you were so brave to go camping so "far along" but man now I feel disapointed your ditching us. Guess you'll miss all the awesome fun I know we're going to have LOL
