25 Weeks

I don't have a picture at this point. We normally do that on Thursday, but instead we went out to dinner with friends we never get to see. Then Rachel took me baby gear shopping when she found out I had opted to skip the Baby Shower this time. Isn't she a total sweetie? We got the cutest outfits, and the softest blanket ever, along with other misc goodies. Thanks again friend!

Last weekend was fun. Saturday I think we just relaxed. I just don't remember it so can't give you details. We went to Jacob's 1st birthday party on Sunday. He is the most adorable and loving kid ever. He spent the whole party making sure that every person there got some personal love. I think he and Gman made just about the same mess with their treats. And Gman only had a cupcake while Jacob had a whole individual cake! You'd think 9 years would make a difference, but no.... =) It was great to see his parents too. Plus Rachel's friends had a 3 week and 7 week old. It was adorable to see them together, and I got to hold the 3 week old. He was soo tiny. It makes me even more excited for September!!

This week at work was interesting. When I got back from vacation Thursday afternoon I found out that we were moving offices this Friday. So not only was I getting my stuff caught up but I packing up my share of the files and work too. I felt guilty about not being able to move most of the boxes, but thank goodness the girls were all understanding. They even questioned me on the ones that I knew weren't too heavy for me. Adorable. We got most of the stuff moved over on Friday and I'm sure it'll be a great move.

Gman spent the week at his dads house. We talked daily but it's not the same as being able to see him. Without him here the week at home seemed rather slow. We just did alot of relaxing. And going to bed at like 8:30. Or at least I did.. I've been really tired lately. The book says it's because CheesePuff is starting the "fattening up" stage.

Baby is doing great. He's growing and has been putting even more pressure on my ribs. He's still loving the right side of me for some reason. I'm going to be stretched out all lopsided by September if he keeps this up... He's supposed to be about 1.5 lbs now and 13" long. One of the girls in my birthgroup on baby center delivered last week, and her son is doing okay. He's still in the NICU, but at 5 days he's alive and "thriving". While I hope CheesePuff agrees to wait for his scheduled birthday it's good to know he at least has a chance if he tries to come early.
